Dear Friends,

Midsummer’s is celebrated in Sweden and is a public holiday associated with nature and the hope for a good harvest in the coming fall/autumn. We also celebrate here in Lindsborg with an annual Midsummer’s Festival which will be taking place on Saturday, June 15th 2024.

Our Festival has many activities for children and adults, including but are not limited to: Inflatables, Games & Activities, Scavenger Hunt, Blomkrans, Food & Craft Demonstrations, Food Vendors, Performers and Entertainment, Viking Reenactments, Swedish Genealogy, Kubb Tournament, Free Swim and of course Swedish dancing. Activities begin at 10:00am and conclude at 11:00pm with the Free Swim.

There is no admission fee for our festival, which makes it one of the very few festivals in Kansas that are free to attend. This is only made possible by our sponsors, donors and grants that we receive. However, there is a small registration fee/cost for the Kubb Tournament, Food Vendors & Blomkrans. You will see below, there are multiple options for you to help sponsor all of these activities. Due to the festival being free, we rely heavily on the support of our businesses, community and you as an individual. Without you and your generosity, these activities would not be able to occur.

Our committee of volunteers have worked very hard to provide and produce a safe and enjoyable festival, especially considering the obstacles our world is going through right now. We do this to promote our unique town and celebrate our heritage and culture with others. We want everyone, young and old, to have a smile on their face, learn a little bit, and have a day of enjoyment in the craziness that seems to be our world today.

The community of Lindsborg is beyond amazing and continues to be the backbone of our little town and all the events that occur here. Please strongly consider helping by sponsoring our event.
